While his father served in the US Navy, Tony Romo was born in San Diego, CA.  Soon after, they moved to Burlington, Wisconson.  Romo play many sports while growing up such as football, basketball, golf and tennis.  He received many honors and awards throughout high school and college.  He attended Burlington High School and then later went to Eastern Illinois University.  While in college, Romo was the first in EIU to have both, his jersey number (17) reitred and receive the Walter Payton Award.

Romo was signed as an undrafted rookie by the Dallas Cowboys in 2003.  His first snap as the Dallas Cowboys QB was in a game against the Houston Texans for a 33 yd. gain to Sam Hurd.  His second pass was to T.O. for a two yd. Romo has had his ups and downs in the past few seasons, but we Cowboy Fans have faith in that he will take us to that Big Game known as the Super Bowl.  Romo has a win/loss record of 38 - 17 as a starter.  He has thrown for over 15,000 yards, completing 1,178 of 1,857 passes.   A total of 107 TD and 55 INT.  Leading the Cowboys to 3 Post Seasons, he has a record of 1 -3.  As of Oct. 30, 2007, Romo signed a 7 year deal (contract ending 2013) with the Cowboys.

"CB4L"

Hello!  My name is Adam Buchanan!  I am going to do my best to keep this blog updated throught out the 2010 Regular Season.  As you can see, the title of this blog post is "CB4L".  If you are a Dallas Cowboys Fan, then you should know what that means.  For those of you who aren't, it stands for "Cowboys For Life"!!!  I am a di-hard Cowboys fan.  Anyway, today is Aug. 23, 2010.  We have already witnessed 3 Preseason games played by the Cowboys.  The first game was the Hall of Fame game played against Cincinnati Bengals.  The Cowboys won 16 - 7.  The only TD the Boys scored was a defensive TD.  The rest of the points were field goals.  The second game was against the Raiders.  Unfortunately, the Boys lost to the haters.  The Cowboys offense failed to score a TD in the first 8 Qtrs of Preseason.  They finally scored a TD on a Romo pass to Austin in the third preseason game agains the Chargers.  It was a short pass but all in all, it was a TD.  The Boys go on to score another TD which was a pass from Kitna to Marty B!!!  (Shout out to Morgan).  The Boys won within the last few minutes of the game on a Saftey!  The final score was 16 - 14.

As of now, the Cowboys are 2 - 1 in the 2010 Preseason.  We, all Cowboy Fans, are looking to see "OUR" team go to the Super Bowl.  This seasons SB will be played here in Arlington in the New Cowboys Stadium.  If the Boys make it there, it will be the first time EVER that the city hosting the SB will have their own team in the big game.  No NFL team has ever played in the SB in their own stadium.  The Cowboys are looking to be the first team to accomplish this feat.

Well, until next time!  I shall be ready to write more on the up coming games as they approach.  And remember:  The Dallas Cowboys ARE and WILL ALWAYS be "AMERICA'S TEAM"!!!

GO COWBOYS!!!
